Guidelines for secure access and compliance

Using VPNs or VPS on BTF Prop Funding Accounts

At BTF Prop Funding, only the registered trader is authorized to access and operate their account.

Sharing login credentials or allowing multiple users to access the same account is strictly prohibited.

The use of VPNs or VPS services is not explicitly banned, however, traders must ensure that their usage does not conflict with any of our policies.

This includes:

  • Maintaining full and exclusive control of the account

  • Avoiding automated systems or unauthorized tools

  • Ensuring trading activity reflects normal, individual behavior

For performance tracking and system accuracy, we strongly discourage the use of VPNs or VPS connections, as they may:

  • Interfere with internal tracking systems

  • Trigger false compliance alerts

  • Be associated with multi-account or shared activity

Any activity that appears suspicious or inconsistent may be subject to review and potential restriction.

VPN/VPS Use During KYC and AML Verification

To maintain the security and integrity of our platform — and to comply with KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) regulations — all verification processes must be completed without VPN or VPS connections.

Using masked or anonymous networks during verification may result in:

  • Delays or rejection of the verification process

  • Temporary suspension of the account

  • Restrictions on accessing funded accounts

If unusual activity is detected during verification, VPN or VPS usage may be considered a risk factor and could lead to further review.

For the best experience and smooth approval, we recommend completing your KYC/AML verification using a direct and secure internet connection.
