Restricted trading practices

At BTF Prop Funding, maintaining a fair and transparent trading environment is a top priority.

Any trading behavior that is considered manipulative, unrealistic, or abusive is strictly prohibited and will result in an immediate breach of our Terms of Service.

Traders are expected to operate their evaluation and funded accounts with the same discipline and integrity as they would on a real capital account.

Any attempt to exploit platform conditions, simulated environments, or pricing inefficiencies will result in account termination, regardless of the stage (evaluation or funded).

Examples of prohibited strategies

The following practices are not allowed:

  • Exploiting platform errors, price feed delays, or execution issues

  • Trading using delayed data feeds or non-real-time charts

  • High-frequency trading (HFT) or ultra-fast scalping strategies designed to exploit micro price movements

  • Arbitrage strategies, including latency arbitrage or reverse arbitrage

  • Using trade emulators or mirroring systems to replicate positions

  • Opening excessive positions in short periods without a clear trading rationale

  • Taking directional trades without any structured strategy or risk management approach

Important notice

All traders are required to follow realistic and professional trading practices.

Any violation of these rules may result in permanent account termination and potential disqualification from future participation with BTF Prop Funding.
