What is the maximum total loss?

B
Written by BTF Prop Funding

The maximum total loss represents the total amount a trader can lose in their account, including both realized and unrealized (floating) losses.

At BTF Prop Funding, the maximum allowable total loss is 6% of your initial account balance.

Example

For example, in a $100,000 account, the maximum total loss is $6,000.

This means your equity — including open positions — must not fall below $94,000 at any time.

Failing to respect this limit will result in the immediate termination of your account.
