Understanding the single trade risk rule
At BTF Prop Funding, risk management is strictly enforced to ensure consistent and professional trading behavior.
The 2% rule means that no single trade should result in a loss greater than 2% of your total account balance.
Splitting a position into multiple entries or partial trades will still be treated as one single trade for risk evaluation purposes.
This rule applies only to funded accounts under the Two-Step model and does not apply during the evaluation phases.
Violating this rule is considered a hard breach and will result in the immediate termination of the funded account.
